MEFA provides free resources for Massachusetts families on college planning, financial aid, scholarships, saving for college, and understanding how to pay for college.

Federal Student Aid / FAFSA
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the application students use to apply for federal financial aid, including grants, work-study, and federal student loans. Families can learn more about the FAFSA and the federal financial aid process through the U.S. Department of Education.

Massachusetts Financial Aid for Undocumented Students
The Massachusetts Application for State Financial Aid (MASFA) provides a pathway for eligible students who are unable to complete the FAFSA, including qualifying undocumented students, to apply for Massachusetts state financial aid.

📝 PSAT – Grade 11 Students We invite all Sturgis 11th-grade students to take the PSAT this October- Date TBD. All Grade 11 students are automatically registered for the exam, so families do not need to complete a separate registration.
Please note: CAPS fees must be paid in order for your student to take the PSAT.
Families can submit their CAPS payment through their student’s campus webpage:

Once on your campus page, scroll toward the bottom of the page to locate the CAPS payment section, where payment can be conveniently completed online.
