Cape Cod Healthcare Psychiatric Assessment Team (PAT)
24 hour assessment and referral services are readily accessible to residents of Cape Cod and the Islands. PAT responds to the needs of the community through diagnosis, treatment, education, and prevention services. Teams are located at Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital. Cape and Islands Suicide Prevention Coalition (SPC)
The Suicide Prevention Coalition works to raise awareness around suicide in order to reduce the number of suicides in the region. SPC assists schools and after school programs, mental health, law enforcement, and emergency medical service agencies; organizations representing suicide survivors; and groups representing communities whose members may be at risk for suicide and families who have experienced suicide. Career Opportunities of Hyannis
Career Opportunities is a branch of the Cape & Islands Workforce Investment Board, and a collaborative effort of three agencies: the Job Training & Employment Corporation (JTEC), the Division of Career Services (DCS) and the Division of Unemployment Assistance (DUA). Child and Family Services of Cape Cod
Child and Family Services works with children who are victims of serious physical abuse, sexual assault and/or witnessed family violence. They provide individual, family and group counseling, support, case management and linkages to other appropriate community services. It is a comprehensive educational and advocacy program for families referred by the Department of Social Services. Parent Mentors work with families to learn new and better ways of coping with the challenges of everyday life. The focus of the program is to strengthen families at risk for child abuse or neglect. Gosnold of Cape Cod: Addiction Treatment, Recovery & Support
Gosnold serves individuals and families affected by substance abuse and mental illness. Their outpatient center in Centerville provides a list of local providers who work with teens struggling with drug/alcohol addiction. Gosnold runs a free program every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Falmouth Hospital. The program provides information and strategies for families with a loved one struggling with addiction. Independence House

Kids and Teens Behavioral Health Assessment Center (KTAC)
A part of Cape Cod Healthcare, KTAC provides out-patient psychiatric care for youth ages 3-19, including neuropsychological and psychological testing/assessment, medication prescription and management and counseling services. It provides behavioral health and treatment services as well as access to a clinician, psychologist and psychiatrist; a central point of contact to help coordinate referrals for specialized assessments, and a central place to receive information and support related to parenting a child with emotional and behavioral health/concern concerns. Kids Grieve Too of Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod
Kids Grieve Too was started over a decade ago to respond to the needs of bereaved children on the Cape. MARC is an academic center housed at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. They conduct research, attend and host conferences and workshops, and bring anti-bullying and anti-cyber bullying programs to K-12 faculty, staff, administration, students, parents, and communities. Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF)
DCF is the state agency charged with the responsibility of protecting children from child abuse and neglect. They offer a wide variety of services including child abuse and sexual assault prevention programs, adoption and foster care, teen parent education, runaway and homeless youth hotlines, adolescent counseling and GLBTQ advocacy services. DCF is also committed to ensuring that youth in its care are able to pursue higher education and vocational training to achieve their potential. In keeping with this commitment, there are both state and federally funded programs available to youth in the care of DCF, as well as in DCF sponsored adoptive and guardianship homes, to help finance post-secondary education. Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC)
MSPCC offers a range of programs and services to strengthen and support children and families throughout Cape Cod. Many of their services are home-based. MSPCC is a licensed provider of individual, group and family counseling with specific training and experience in helping victims of trauma. MSPCC is committed to providing family-centered, comprehensive treatment services in a family‘s home or other settings including mental health evaluations, in-home therapy, parent support and education classes, and therapeutic mentoring. The Center also includes specialized child and adolescent trauma treatment services. MSPCC services help parents develop the skills to be more confident and successful as parents, and access the information and resources they need for their families' well-being. They also offer specific support for pregnant and parenting teens.

Mobile Crisis Intervention Services of Cape Cod
Mobile Crisis Intervention Services are accessible 24 hours/day to children and adolescents up to age 20, who are experiencing a mental or emotional health crisis. Telephone triage initially determines the level of risk, type of service needed, and the most appropriate/safe setting for crisis intervention. MCI works closely with schools and local agencies in an effort to avoid unnecessary hospital emergency room visits by offering MCI in the least restrictive environment. Navigating ADHD
Navigating ADHD is a solution based approach to supporting families whose lives are affected by ADHD. Co-founders Tracey Bromley-Goodwin, M.Ed. and Holly Oberacker, ATR, LMHC, offer parents and children proven methods for managing the symptoms of ADHD. Services include seminars and workshops for professionals and families; a parent education support group; and for students, one on one academic and life skill coaching sessions ,art therapy sessions, and social skills groups focusing on skill development, self-awareness, and building self- esteem. SMH is a non-profit organization that provides community-based (in-person) and interactive (telephone and online) programs of mental health education and screening for depression, bipolar disorder, suicide intervention, alcohol problems, eating disorders, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.
