Health Wellness and Safety Night for Parents on Tuesday, November 4th, at 7:00 p.m. at Sturgis West

Will Slotnick will present at our Health Wellness and Safety Night for Parents on Tuesday, November 4th, at 7:00 p.m. at Sturgis West in room 113. ElenieTsarhopoulos, another wellness expert who works with our 9th graders, will be joining Will for this parent presentation. This is a great opportunity to hear a professional perspective on the challenges and choices facing today's youth. Will and Elenie are very informative and engaging – encouraging questions and feedback. Please join us!

We strongly encourage parents of all students to attend this Tuesday evening session. Last year's seminars were instructive, valuable, and made a significant impression on both students and adults in the Sturgis community. Their material and approach can be very helpful for students, teachers, and parents when tackling these difficult issues.

We thank you for your support and hope to see you on the night of the 4th! For more information on Will Slotnick, please visit his website at http://www.wellnesscollaborative.org

Paris to Pyrenees, April 2015:

Next Spring break, Sturgis will be traveling to France and Spain on EF's Paris to the Pyrenenees tour. The Pyrenees separate Spain and France, making for an interesting blend of the two cultures. Students will get to experience the local flavor in Paris and Barcelona where world’s best art and architecture are on display—and border cities like Biarritz, San Sebastian and Pamplona that show subtle variations in French and Spanish culture.

Travel dates are Aprill 17-26, 2015. The cost of the trip is $3,355, which includes airfare and transportation, hotels, entrances, a full-time tour director, travel insurance, and meals (breakfasts and dinners).
