Theatre trip to Czech Republic
Sturgis East and West will be taking a trip together to participate in a theatre festival in the Czech Republic in April 2014. This trip is open to students in all grades and will be a once-in-a-high-school opportunity. We would love to have some freshmen join us! Click HERE for details.
Upcoming Events:
There are many events that occur in the final few weeks of school. Please note the dates listed below:
Science MCAS for 9th graders: Tuesday and Wednesday, June 4 + 5
Ninth Grader BWET field trip: Friday, June 7
Final Exams: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Monday, June 12, 13, 14 and 17 (starting with G exam on Wednesday and finishing with A and makeup on Monday). On exam days, students will be dismissed at 1:00, except June 17th when dismissal is at 10:30.

Plymouth & Brockton Bus Lines has added made some changes to bus routes for Sturgis Students. Click here for more details (PDF).
Box Lunch is the new School Lunch Provider:
Starting Monday, November 5th, Box Lunch on Main Street in Hyannis will be delivering lunches to Sturgis East and Sturgis West. We have created an easy to use, online ordering system on our website which will be available to place lunch orders and will be accessible beginning Sunday November 4th.
Students may select one Entree either a Sandwich, Salad, or Soup and will include a choice of drink and a choice of dessert. An all inclusive price of $5.50 per lunch.

Driver Education Classes for Sturgis East & West:
All classes will run for two weeks M-F after school from 3:15-6:15 and held at East/West based on participation. School break classes will be one week from 9AM to 3PM daily.
All students need to be 15yrs, 9mos old at time of class.
Registration forms are available at each school office or the Driving School.
We will need a minimum of 15 students to hold class.
Professional Driving School will transport students to East or West for classes.
Definite class: 2/25- 3/8
Possible class: 3/4-3/15
April break: 4/15-4/19 if school is not available, class will be held at
Professional Driving School 5 Mark Lane, Hyannis (behind NE Pizza)
Christmas Break: 12/26-12/29 and 12/31 at the Professional Driving School
February Break: 2/18-2/22 at the Professional Driving School
